Job Description

  • Advance acquisition, tracking and measurement engine algorithms. 

  • Validate algorithms and control firmware in embedded devices (C programming in real-time operating systems). 

  • Write and debug software in MATLAB, Python, and C. 

  • Develop floating-point and fixed-point models and run simulations to analyze and validate overall system performance. 

  • Document and present results both internally and externally. 

  • Collaborate closely with ASIC/FPGA, RF, and software engineers to design and validate silicon-based systems. 

  • Follow and contribute to company software engineering best practices.

Requirements

Qualinx is looking for a result-driven and conscientious GNSS Engineer. Someone who thrives in an environment where your proactive and can-do attitude is highly appreciated. The ideal candidate for this role must have: 

  • Master’s in electrical engineering (or equivalent industry experience) with 5+ years of hands-on experience and a proven track record in signal processing techniques in a relevant technology. 

  • Significant knowledge of the GNSS and Communication System processing chain. 

  • Embedded programming / development experience (C programming for embedded system and FPGA platform). 

  • Strong Matlab/ Python and C programming skills. 

  • Good communication, reporting, and presentation skills in English. 

Nice to have 

  • Experience on SW implementation of GNSS Acquisition and Tracking algorithms 

  • Multi-path and interference mitigation techniques. 

  • Knowledge about wireless protocols such as  5G NR, LTE, Wi- Fi, loT, Bluetooth.
