  • Key responsibilities: 

    Provides leadership to the Quality functions within the company, such as, supporting the establishment, monitoring and managing adherence to the company’s Quality Management Systems (QMS) policies and procedures.
  • Supports cross functional department training/education on appropriate execution of QMS requirements.

  • Proactively recommends improvements to company policies and procedures to improve internal and external quality performance.

  • Provides expertise to implement, improve and maintain Industrial quality systems including working towards compliance to ISO9001 standards.

  • Oversees internal, regulatory, and customer audits, managing resolution of issues identified within the audits and subsequent implementation of corrective actions.

  • Facilitates and executes corrective action processes, internal and external (CAPA).

  • Recommends and implements systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the quality assurance functions.

  • Ensures proper quality documentation and records are generated and maintained.

  • Evaluates both potential and current Supplier quality systems and performs on-site audits as required.

  • Engaging with customer quality personnel – timely responding to questions and resolving issues.

  • Other tasks as assigned from time to time.

Job requirements

Requirements: 

  • BS in Engineering or other technical degree or equivalent work experience.

  • >5 years of experience in manufacturing quality systems and familiarity with ISO 9001 Standards for QMS.

  • Interpersonal skills to constructively manage interactions and working relationships.

  • Significant internal auditing experience to specific quality management standards.

  • Energetic and creative with strong analytical skills and a solid work ethic.

  • Technically proficient in computer applications: MS Word and Excel.
