Key responsibilities:
Provides leadership to the Quality functions within the company, such as, supporting the establishment, monitoring and managing adherence to the company’s Quality Management Systems (QMS) policies and procedures.
Supports cross functional department training/education on appropriate execution of QMS requirements.
Proactively recommends improvements to company policies and procedures to improve internal and external quality performance.
Provides expertise to implement, improve and maintain Industrial quality systems including working towards compliance to ISO9001 standards.
Oversees internal, regulatory, and customer audits, managing resolution of issues identified within the audits and subsequent implementation of corrective actions.
Facilitates and executes corrective action processes, internal and external (CAPA).
Recommends and implements systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the quality assurance functions.
Ensures proper quality documentation and records are generated and maintained.
Evaluates both potential and current Supplier quality systems and performs on-site audits as required.
Engaging with customer quality personnel – timely responding to questions and resolving issues.
Other tasks as assigned from time to time.
Job requirements
Requirements:
BS in Engineering or other technical degree or equivalent work experience.
>5 years of experience in manufacturing quality systems and familiarity with ISO 9001 Standards for QMS.
Interpersonal skills to constructively manage interactions and working relationships.
Significant internal auditing experience to specific quality management standards.
Energetic and creative with strong analytical skills and a solid work ethic.
Technically proficient in computer applications: MS Word and Excel.
