Job Description
As an RF Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and carrying out test plans, as well as troubleshooting and analysing RF measurements using automated test setups. The following will be your core responsibilities:
Collaborate with the internal design team to define measurement requirements effectively.
Develop and execute characterization test plans to report the performance of all the parametric data from RF Front End.
Create Python scripts based on the test plans and perform measurements using automated setups with PXI system and RF instruments.
Collect and organize data to verify RF performance across different operating conditions, such as temperature, voltage, and process corners.
Utilize Python language including SQL for data management, Jupyter for data visualization and PyQt for creating GUI.
Debug and troubleshoot issues that arise during testing, including debugging circuits, analysing data, and proposing solutions in collaboration with design, application and software teams.
Document test procedures, results, and specifications for internal reference.
Develop and configure test equipment (hardware/software/automation) in support of performance characterization.
Ownership spanning from component-level to full system operation, including SoC bring-up.

Qualinx is looking for a result driven and conscientious RF Validation Engineer. Someone who thrives in an environment where your proactive and can-do attitude is highly appreciated. The ideal candidate for this role should have:
BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering degree.
In-depth knowledge and experience with RF circuits include amplifiers, filters, mixers, oscillators and measurement techniques.
Experienced in PVT characterization and expertise in testing hardware and firmware, including automated test management, integration, and lab failure troubleshooting.
Experienced in data management and data visualization.
Experience conducting large-scale automation lab testing across multiple products concurrently.
Experience in working with Lab equipment, including PXIe, Spectrum analysers, Network analysers, Digitizing Oscilloscopes, Signal generators, DMMs, and programmable power supplies.
Skilled in Python programming languages and software tools like MATLAB, Keil, and Excel.
Familiar with microcontroller programming in C language, with knowledge of peripheral interfaces and their integration into embedded systems.
Proficiency in version control software like GIT.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
*Having knowledge of GNSS and IoT protocols would be considered a bonus point.
*Having the ability to characterize SPI/I2C/UART digital interface would be nice.
