Job requirements

Responsibilities: 

As a Digital Validation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing test plans to ensure the functionality and performance of digital circuits and systems. This role requires hands-on experience in debugging, analyzing, and characterizing digital IPs through automated test setups. Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Collaborating closely with internal design, firmware, and software teams to define digital test requirements and validation plans. 

  • Developing and executing comprehensive test plans to validate all digital functionalities. 

  • Working on SoC-level validation and bring-up, managing tests from component-level through to full system operation. 

  • Creating Python scripts to automate tests and collect measurements using automated setups with digital test equipment. 

  • Collecting, organizing, and analyzing data to verify performance across various conditions for different samples. 

  • Utilizing tools like Python for scripting and data handling to automate processes and enhance analysis. 

  • Debugging and troubleshooting issues that arise during testing, including hardware, firmware, and digital interface issues, and collaborating with design, applications, and software teams to implement solutions. 

  • Documenting test procedures, validation results, and specifications for internal reference and compliance. 

Requirements: 

The ideal candidate for this Digital Validation Engineer role is detail-oriented, proactive, and has a can-do attitude, with the following qualifications: 

  • BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field. 

  • Strong knowledge of digital circuits, including memory and MCU architecture and digital interfaces, with experience in low-power IoT systems. 

  • Hands-on experience with bus protocols (AHB, APB) and peripheral interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART). 

  • Working knowledge of FPGA systems for pre-silicon debugging, especially Zynq processors. 

  • Proficiency in firmware debugging and real-time troubleshooting using debugging tools. 

  • Experience with automated test setups and conducting concurrent lab tests on multiple products. 

  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment, such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, digital multimeters, signal generators, and programmable power supplies. 

  • Proficiency in Python programming for automation and data analysis; familiarity with tools like Power BI, Excel, database management, and version control software (e.g., Git). 

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken. 

Bonus Points: 

  • Knowledge of GNSS technologies for precise location-based IoT applications 

  • Experience in Power, Voltage, and Temperature (PVT) characterization and expertise in hardware testing, including automated test management, integration, and troubleshooting.
